Timber Roofing - with Karamba3D and Galapagos

This free project (2023) is a timber construction for roofing.

Shape and size of the roofed area can be chosen individually. Based on this an algorithms determines the optimal support position.
The plug-ins Karamba3D and Galapagos were used for the structural analysis and optimization.

The video shows the process of determining the optimal support position using the algorithm.
